COURSE STRUCTURE (The course consists of two parts):

Senior health issues and how yoga addresses them

Practical aspects of establishing and maintaining a financially viable yoga business and/or Community Outreach program

Passing the quizzes on the material covered in the first part (Senior Health & Yoga) leads to the final exam, which must be passed in order to become certified as a Silver Age Yoga teacher.

STUDY MATERIALS (Study materials are mailed within 10 business days of receipt of payment):

Printed study book detailing senior health issues and how Silver Age Yoga addresses them

89 Silver Age Yoga asanas with benefits and precautions indicated, including a model class description

Anatomy book

DVD: Yoga in the Silver Years with corresponding poses modeled

DVD: Silver Age Yoga I and II.

CD: Silver Age Yoga Community Outreach Business Tool Kit, including sample forms, media kit, and public presentations.

REQUIRED STUDY TIME/TIME LIMIT: Time to complete the program typically takes between 40 and 50 hrs. The time limit to pass the final exam is one year from the date of registration.

YOGA ALLIANCE CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs): 25 CEUs earned upon completion of program.

SUPPORT: For students who have difficulty with the quizzes, online assistance will be provided at no additional cost.
