Silver Age Yoga provides more direct health benefits to a larger group of needy seniors at no cost, than any other known charity organization of similar nature.
"At no cost" means that it does not cost money to the particpants. However, providing these services costs a considerable amount of money.

Silver Age Yoga is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit California corporation.
Extensively training and certifying dozens of teachers in special, geriatric science-based yoga techniques and skills takes a considerable investment. Compensating facilitators, developing and producing curriculum materials, paying yoga teachers for the time they are teaching over and above their committed community service time, program advertising, management, legal and accounting fees, insurance, fees to regulatory agencies, amounts to considerable expense. With the support of two of the San Diego County's supervisors, The Pacific Athletic Club, and several institutional and individual donors, Silver Age Yoga continues to survive.

- Continue our present program (over 20 centers, over 400 seniors)
- Expand to satisfy existing demands
- Continue expansion of Silver Age Yoga, first in California, then nationwide.
